AirVenture Cup Announced a New Class Designation For 390 Cubic Inch Engines
AirVenture Cup Race 2022 is approaching very fast, just mere days remain before this highly anticipated annual race. This year a development has led to the AVC contest committee making a significant change due to the increasing popularity and use of the 390 cubic inch engine. The AVC has just announced a new class designation for the 390 cubic inch engines. This decision is consistent with past practices of class designation based on engine displacement. The newest class is now known as the White class and it applies to Formula RG, Formula FX, and Formula RV aircraft.
